The launch of our Tiny Trailblasters Shared Education programme funded by PeacePlus Aspire
This year our nursery has been lucky enough to have been selected to become part of the ASPIRE Peaceplus Shared Education programme with our partner nursery, Ederney Community Nursery.
We have a busy set of plans for terms 2 and 3 and were delighted to meet up first virtually and then in person. Our class mascots: Teddy (Ederney) and Buddy (Kesh) have been on their adventures getting to know all our little folk by way of sleepovers with our new friends and documenting their travels in our shared Seesaw Class.
Wonderful friendships are emerging already and we cannot wait to get to know each other even better in the weeks and months ahead.
On Tuesday 20th January, marked a very special milestone as Kesh Community Nursery and Ederney Community Nursery met face to face for the very first time as part of our new PEACEPLUS Aspire Shared Education Programme! 🤝✨
Our Kesh boys and girls were full of excitement as they climbed aboard a bus for the very first time and set off on their big adventure to Ederney. When they arrived, they were greeted by their lovely new friends — buddies they had already met online, but were now finally able to play with in person! 💙
Together, the children enjoyed exploring the indoor and outdoor play areas, sharing laughter, games, and lots of happy moments. After all that fun, everyone tucked into a delicious snack before joining in for a wonderful shared song and rhyme time 🎶 — a perfect ending to a perfect visit.
Our little travellers then hopped back on the bus with big smiles and even bigger stories to tell! 🚌✨
We’re already counting down the days until our next adventure, when our Ederney pals will join us in Kesh for more shared fun and learning. 🌈
Here’s to new friendships, new experiences, and working together in the spirit of peace and community. 💕
