ERGS tournament in Fivemiletown
On 26th January, our Year 6/7 girls hockey team travelled to Fivemiletown to take part in a hockey tournament organised by ERGS A-Level students! Our first game was against Jones Memorial and although the girls played brilliantly, we lost 3-0.
During our second game the girls played the Model and worked superbly as a team to win 1-0, with our goal score by Martha, Year 6. Our win was enough to progress through to the semi final where we faced Lisbellaw PS. The girls got the first goal of the game scored by Katie Nevin and played brilliantly with the result ending 2-1 to Lisbellaw.
The whole team were an absolute credit to KPS and worked enthusiastically together throughout the day. Well done girls and thank you to ERGS for a superbly organised event!
