Our Year 1 stars
Welcome everyone to our Year 1 page. I am Mrs Cullen the class teacher and I am truly excited to begin a new school year alongside all the staff, pupils and families of KPS.

We have already hit the ground running in Year 1. Only a few days in and we are settled and enjoying all the fun opportunities and experiences Year 1 has to offer. We are so fortunate this Year to have lots of adults to help us. Mrs Graham, Miss Flack and Miss Reid are in our class every day helping us get ready, helping us to learn and helping us to have lots of fun!
Our topic this term is 'A time to Rhyme' and we will be doing lots of singing and dancing to the rhymes we know and also learning some new ones.
Our PE sessions have been super too - Our CORE NI coach comes in and plays games to help improve our fitness, coordination and balance. Coach Damien is a great addition to the Year 1 team.
As the term progresses I will add photos from each of our curricular areas and keep you up to date with the activities and events happening in our class.
