We wrote another letter to our Penpals through our google slides. We can’t wait for the replies!
February 2021
This month we took part in a week of challenges with our American penpals. We had a challenge to complete each day of the week and our Penpals tried the same challenges. Then we took photos and put them on our shared google slides so we could see what each other did. These were our challenges:
- Mellow Monday- wear pyjamas!
- Tuesday Tidings - Write a note of gratitude to your penpal
- Wacky Wednesday- put on as much snow gear as you can!
- Thursday - Pet day- take a photo of a pet or soft toy
- Friday - Hot cocoa Party - a photo of you drinking hot chocolate!
January 2021
So far we have written 4 letters to our penpals. We have sent photos online using our google slides links and we are so happy to be learning out about each other.
We are all so excited about our new penpals from Maryland, USA. We sent our first letters on 16th October and are looking forward to our replies. Thank you to all the parents/guardians who gave their child permission to take part. I wonder what we will find out about our new friends?
