This has been an incredibly proud week for everyone in Kesh Primary School and Community Nursery, as we received our SEL PATHs Model School Award.  The whole school programme empowers children to develop socially and emotionally, teaching them the fundamental skills of enhancing their self-esteem, resilience and conflict resolution.  Lyndsey McSparron (Representing Barnardo’s UK) met with the School Council for a tour of our school and classrooms. Lyndsey was immensely impressed by the level of engagement and commitment to the PATHs’ approach’s and strategies throughout the school.  The morning of celebrations was also attended by a very special guest.  Twiggle the PATHs’ turtle made a surprise visit to our Nursery to meet some very enthusiastic fans 🐢  Our school remains dedicated to the emotional development and mental wellbeing of our pupils, and we look forward to continuing to see the benefits of this wonderful programme.
