    Children across all year groups enjoyed celebrating International Maths Day with a range of mathematical activities and games throughout the school. Pupils had a lot of fun challenging themselves from sudoku to IZAK 9 cubes, measuring length and competing in Mathletics challenges. Well done to each and every pupil! πŸ˜ƒ

  • Walk and Wheel Week Focus Day

    πŸš²πŸ‘£πŸŒ Well done to the boys and girls who joined our walking bus at Castle Manor and Butchers car park this morning as part of our Walk and Wheel Week. We are encouraging children to make active journeys to school, improve air quality and discover how these changes benefit our world. 🌍 πŸ‘£ 🚲

    We had a wonderful day celebrating our very own World Book Day with a twist, on Wednesday 13th March. Pupils got the opportunity to tell everyone their word and watch a very special performance by our staff.

  • KPS Panto

    Thank you to our wonderful school community for supporting our school pantomime.  We sold out all 8 shows with KS2 performing in front of just over 1300 people! Thank you so much to local schools, parents, family and friends for being enthusiastic audiences and also for the amazing feedback we received.  We are also very surprised at how many people watched our pantomime promotional videos on our social media pages. We have such a supportive community and we at KPS are very appreciative of that! 

  • KPS Panto- Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs

    Kesh Primary School, is proud to announce that Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs will be coming to our school stage from 4th March to the 7th March 2024   

    Mirror, mirror, on the wall, don’t miss the fairest pantomime of them all!   Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs will be spectacularly brought to life with an abundance of comedy, sensational song and dance numbers, fabulous costumes, and stunning scenery. Throw in a magical mirror, seven friendly dwarfs and plenty of audience participation and you have the perfect recipe to outwit the Wicked Queen and let love prevail in this glittering treat for all ages.   

    This is the return of our Pantomime production following a four-year hiatus and we would love to have as much support as possible.     

    Our evening shows are:   
    Tuesday 5th March (doors open at 6.30pm, show starts at 7pm) 
    Wednesday 6th March (doors open at 6.30pm, show starts at 7pm) 
    Thursday 7th March (doors open at 6.30pm, show starts at 7pm)

    Tickets are available via ParentPay or from the school office. Any issues with booking, please just let us know. The first batch of tickets bought will go home on Monday 19th February, please ensure you check your child’s school bag 🎟️

  • Go Blue Day - Autism NI

    πŸ”΅Go Blue Day-Autism NIπŸ”΅

    Last week we took part in Autism NI ‘Superhero Week’ to help raise awareness of autism. 
    Pupils completed a list of superhero tasks at home and we finished our superhero week by hosting a Go Blue Day on Friday. 
    We were delighted to raise £418 for Autism NI! A massive thank you to you all for helping us raise money for this wonderful charity.

  • Safer Internet Day 2024

    Today, Friday 6th February 2024, was Safer Internet Day. All classes in KPS undertook learning related to being safe and responsible online. This year's theme for Safer Internet Day was 'Inspiring change? Making a difference, managing influence and navigating change online'. It is important that we all teach our young children, (both teachers and parents), about online safety.     We are delighted to let you know that Kesh Primary School has been awarded ‘Autism NI Impact Award Champion’ status. 

    Our School took part in tailored training in order to further enhance our autism accessibility.  This achievement is a testament to the dedication of all our staff and the importance they put on the inclusion of all of our pupils. πŸ˜ƒ

  • Ditch the Dark Day

    On Thursday 25th January we will be taking part in ‘Ditch the Dark’ day to raise awareness of safe travel to school. Children can come to school on this day wearing bright or reflective clothing to promote the “Be Safe, Be Seen” message.
